Hundreds of people took advantage of the glorious sunshine and poured on to the town’s streets for both processions. The Frome Town Band heralded the Carnival Queens float decorated in the memory of the late Hazel Butler, a stalwart carnival member most of her adult life. In the afternoon Carina Haines won the Stacey Cup with Miss Piggy. In the evening Allsorts CC won the Butler & Tanner trophy.
