A day of rain and new Carnival vehicle safety regulations failed to dampen the spirit and enjoyment was had by all. Frome Swimming Club’s entry Space Cowboys, Wesley Sunday School with Jonah and the Whale entertained the crowd but the crowds had to watch out when Penfold Productions Carnival Slobs squirted the audience with water pistols, as if they weren’t already wet from the rain. The best overall float went to Swine Fever by Hot Rock CC of Gillingham.
