A lovely day with some really unusual entries. A flame thrower, Samba Band and Bob the Builder were three of the most popular additions to this year’s Carnival. The warm autumn day brought out the crowds to see Oakfield Academy win the Dean Shield and Faith Lily Biles win the Stacey Cup in the afternoon. The evening Carnival saw Kipling JCC win the Butler & Tanner Cup with their London to Paris cart; Magnum CC win the Jennings Cup with Smugglers Haunt and the best Wessex local entry winning the Roy Butler Cup went to Carina Haines with Malita.
