More than 100 children took part in the Children’s Carnival with colourful costumes including Carina Haines as Miss Beijing (winning three cups), Alexandra Morgan as World Liberty and the Trudoxhill Toddlers dressed as Doctors & Nurses. The evening procession saw Cary Comedians CC with Beer Belly Dancers; Hot Rock CC with Las Vegas; Revellers CC with Moulin Rouge. Butler & Tanner trophy was won by Kipling Cubs with Rollin River; Frome Carnival Shield went to Magnum CC with Beyond the Northern Lights.
