The Stacey Cup, top award in the children’s procession, went to Laura Heal with her Ladybird costume. Under blue skies other children’s winners were Rebecca Milner with Lazy Hazy Days of Summer, Timothy Gizzie as Blackbird Baked in a Pie, Kimberley Barney as a Fairy Queen, David Graffham as a Church Mouse, Matthew Henley as a Garden Pest, Christina Corrin & Nicola Bird as Christmas Spirits, Nigel & Sheridan Pleasants as Dick Whittington and his Cat. The evening procession was headed by two horse mounted policemen.
