Members of the Carnival Committee of our twin German town Murrhardt visited Frome to enjoy this year’s carnival. Although the day started overcast, the autumn sun appeared just in time for the Children’s Carnival. Pepperbox Nursery won the schools class with Saving Planet Green. Chairman’s choice winners were Lauren Casson as Baby Groot, Izzy Wheeler as The Sami Wanderer and Frome Girl Guiding as the Wild West. The evening winners were Magnum CC with Secret of the Loch, Just Georges CC with Rock Lobsters and SATCO with Brucy Bonus amongst many others.
