Early morning rain made Carnival Saturday a very damp affair but the Westward Thunderbirds and the Children’s Jazz Band from Bridgend cheered the crowd watching the children’s judging in Victoria Park. In the evening procession the Jennings cup was won by the Warminster Leos and Lions entry of Mississippi Showboat.
