It was lovely weather for ducks and not a lot else when Carnival processions took to the rain-swept streets. Heavy rain meant some of the larger floats failed to materialise but a group of suspiciously hairy swimmers, who synchronised their way around the route, were ideally dressed in swimming caps and bathing suits! Winner of the Stacey Cup in the afternoon was Lisa Mead as Catch a Falling Star.
