Thousands of people, including visitors from a wide surrounding area, lined the streets to watch the magnificent Carnival entries headed by the Frome Town Band and Carnival Queen Ann Wells with her attendants and Children’s Queen Petula Wheeler and her attendants. The Jennings Cup was won by Wallington Weston Company’s Eastern Scene.
