Light drizzle fell on up to 20,000 revellers who packed the streets on Carnival Saturday. The overall Carnival winner for the Frome Selwood Trophy was won by Hot Rock Carnival Club from Gillingham with their colourful, pulsating and exhilarating float Bee on Yer Bike. In the afternoon winner of the Stacey Cup was Sharon Allen with Jewel In The Crown and winner of the Jales Cup was The Motley Tea Folk by Frome Mothers Club.
