There was a lack of a bit of slap and tickle in this year’s carnival according to the secretary Keith Berry. Entries were also down on previous years but at least the rain held off. This was the first Frome Carnival for the newly formed Frome Majorettes with their mascot dog Bella. The Cornish Cup was given to the Colts Carnival Club with The Race and the Butler & Tanner Social Club Trophy went to Ice Fantasy by St John’s Hospital Carnival Club.
