The Saturday was dull but dry and was the culmination of a fortnight’s activities including R.A.F.A. Battle of Britain Week, Frome & District Agricultural Society’s Cheese Show, Jenning’s fairground amusements and the Children’s and Evening Carnival processions. Once again JW Singer & Sons Sports and Social Club won the Jennings Cup with The Jolly Lodger.
