The rain held off for the afternoon children’s procession but a storm before the evening parade ruined costumes and scattered the crowd. Many of the competitors used the weather as a theme for their entries and Arctic Winter won the Jales Cup. St John’s Hospital at Trowbridge won the Jennings Cup with Footlights on Fairytales.
