Carnival Entries
1945 to 1948
There were no Carnivals during the war years of 1939 to 1944. The 1945 revival of the pre-war Carnival was highly successful although no photos have been located. Carnival day in 1946 was a cloudy but dry day with a record collection. The 1947 Carnival was well attended with entries from Sheppards Barton Baptist Church, Butler & Tanner, JW Singer & Sons, Express Dairies and many more. The monster Carnival of 1948 saw a sunny day for both the afternoon and evening processions.
