In the evening procession the Jennings Cup for the most original and attractive entry went to the Frome Young Conservatives. Their entry The End Of The Road (or the Frome Fly-Over) was a skit on the closing of local pubs and road improvements, with a working cement mixer and a white line being painted on a very sloping surface!
